The boys team suffered their first lost in over a year as the meet came down to the last race the 4x400. Western is very young this year  and it showed as the relay team had two sophomores and lost in a very close race.

 Highlights were senior max josts winning the 100, 200 and relay and Junior Munir Kahssay taking the mile and two mile. Munir ran a 4:37 to post his fastest mile.

Look for the Pioneers to bounce back next week at La Habra.
